B&P Wholesale, Supplying Quality Products To The Catering Trade For Over 50 Years.
We are a family run wholesale food packaging and catering supplies business based in Sheffield operating for over 50 years. We specialise in a wide range of high quality products at competitive wholesale prices.
Our story started back in 1975 when the Quinn family started a small egg business which they ran from their garage at home and started delivering to local shops. When a unit became available in the Parkway Wholesale Fruit & Veg Market they set up a small business from there and was one of South Yorkshires Largest Egg Wholesalers. As their customer base grew so did there products slowly introducing food boxes and carrier bags. In 1991 when there daughter Sharon came to work at the business she saw the potential to expand the food packaging side of the business further and over the years the range of packaging grew and grew. In 1997 the business was handed over to Sharon and her Husband Dayle joined the business a few years later. In 2000 the old Parkway Market site was demolished and moved to a new purpose built site The South Yorkshire Fresh Produce & Flower Centre adjacent to the old site. Since 2000 the company have moved 3 times within the same site, each time to a larger unit as their product range and customer base expanded. In 2017 their Daughter Darcy joined the business and in 2025 their son Mason also came on board, so it is now run by the whole Family.
As a family business we know the importance of keeping our customers happy and our prices as low as possible. as well as keeping up with the latest marketing trends. We are still supplying the same customers today as we was 50 years ago and have welcomed new customers and businesses over the years. Our most recent move was to Unit 9a in 2025 and we welcome customers to come down and have a look at our ever expanding range of products. if you are unsure what you need or want to view any of our products our staff will be on hand to offer help and advice and show you the samples, which are on display in the Warehouse.
Although Food Packaging makes up 70% of the business we still sell on average 250,000 fresh farm eggs per week making us still one of South Yorkshires largest Egg Wholesaler.
We stock a wide range of products for the food and catering industry. Our products include everything from takeaway food boxes whether it be kraft, plastic or bagasse, platters, cups for hot and cold drinks, carrier bags, polythene bags, catering disposables including foil, cling film, cutlery, napkins and so much more. All of our products are available to view on our website as well as prices and images.
We are constantly expanding our range of products as well as our knowledge within our field. Our range of biodegradable, compostable and environmentally friendly products has grown rapidly to keep up with the demands of the ever growing packaging industry and move towards more sustainable alternatives to better the environment.
